The 140th session Phase 2 (Oct 23–27): exhibit sections, a 5-day plan, 6 booth-vetting questions, price benchmarks and the 72-hour follow-up rule.

Canton Fair 140th Session Phase 2 (Oct 23–27, 2026) buyer's guide for glass kitchenware & tableware: exhibit sections, badge tips, supplier vetting questions, price benchmarks and post-fair follow-up. Can't attend? Get factory-direct quotes in 24h.
The core section for our industry: glass tableware, kitchen accessories, serving boards, barware sets and holiday kitchen lines.
Cross-shop pricing on overlapping categories and scout the 2027 trend direction. Photography is usually allowed but always ask first.
Revisit your top 3 with serious intent: negotiate MOQ on the spot, and book factory audit visits for the week after the fair. Factories are far more flexible when the fair is over.
Confirm quoted FOB prices in writing before leaving the hall. Booth quotes made verbally on Day 1 have a way of rising by email on Day 30.
Under $1M USD means thin capacity for Q4 rush. If they don't ship to your market regularly, compliance surprises are likely.
Reputable glassware factories quote 0.8–1.5% defect rates and include a 2% transit overage. If they claim zero defects, walk away.
Factories welcome post-fair visits — Guangzhou to Yancheng/Jiangsu industrial zones is a short domestic flight, and seeing the line answers 10 questions at once.
Reference what was discussed at the booth by date. Ask for the written quote to match the booth quote — this is where verbal promises usually inflate.
Real production samples, not booth display pieces. Sample fee should be refundable against a bulk PO — any serious factory agrees to this.
A 30-minute live video tour of the production line catches more issues than three rounds of email. Schedule it while enthusiasm is high.
Phase 2 runs October 23–27, 2026 at the Canton Fair Complex, 382 Yuejiang Middle Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, China. Business hours are 9:30–18:00 daily. Phase 2 is the session for kitchenware, tableware, glass artwork, household items and festival products.
Overseas buyers can pre-register free on the official Canton Fair website (cantonfair.org.cn) year-round. Pre-registered buyers collect their badge at the venue with a passport and printout or e-badge — far faster than on-site registration, which queues can stretch past an hour on opening days.
Phase 2 (October 23–27). Glass artwork, kitchenware and tableware, household items and festival products all sit in Phase 2. If you also source textiles, footwear or stationery, that's Phase 3 (October 31–November 4).
You lose the face-to-face screening, not the sourcing itself. Direct-from-factory channels work well if you verify certifications, run a proper sample round, and do a video factory audit. iWine, for example, works with buyers entirely remotely — quotes in 24 business hours, free sample kits, and live video factory tours. See the CTA below or our separate guide on sourcing online without the fair.
• Prices are FOB Ningbo/Shanghai, T/T 30% deposit + 70% before shipment • Sample fee refundable upon bulk PO confirmation • Mixed-SKU containers standard: combine glassware, boards and gift sets to hit MOQ across products
Most deals are lost in the two weeks after the fair, when both sides drown in follow-ups. Winners move on a fixed schedule:
